Personal Essay (approximately 200 words)
Your essay should answer the following:

• What trade are you passionate about?

• Why does this trade matter to you?

• What do you plan to do after completing your training?

• What were your experiences like in high school? What did you learn, work on, or accomplish?

Letter of Recommendation
A letter from a teacher or mentor who is not a family member, speaking to your character, work ethic, and potential.

Statement of Personal Investment
A short explanation of how you are contributing to your own success—this could be financial, time-based, or other efforts you’ve made toward your goals.
